More snow is on the way but such is life in Maine. I will get pics this time. I will not be lazy, I will not be lazy, I will not be lazy. That is my new mantra for the week.
I'm going out early tomorrow hopefully before the storm, to pick up a foster dog. Her name is Lady (yeah, dumb name, I know) and she's a pitbull. She got along well with my male pit during our meeting so I agreed to foster her for the weekend. We'll see how this goes. Crosses fingers and hopes everyone comes out alive.
Doodles didn't eat all of her beet pulp this morning. I thought it was just because I was doing stuff in the barn and distracting her, but she also didn't eat her beet pulp dinner. I'm not sure what's going on but I'm going to keep an eye on her. She's eating her hay and drinking water but her beet pulp us going untouched. She seems fine otherwise though.
Gypsy, is of course eating her beet pulp and everything else for that matter. The white monster is a hog. She's been feeling good and it shows. There is no sign of lameness at all! In fact after watching her run around today, I feel confident in riding her again. Not that Ive done much riding lately. It's been too cold and icy and I'm busy. Damn excuses. I need to get out and ride those horses! Then maybe this blog would be interesting again....
